During review cycle configuration, admins can decide who is responsible for creating goals for employees.
Available options include:
Employees create their own goals
Supervisors/Evaluators create goals for employees
This setting is configured at the review cycle level.
Supervisor & Evaluator Goal Creation
Direct Report Goal Management
When enabled, Supervisors/Evaluators can:
Create goals for their direct reports
Define developmental objectives
Add measurable outcomes
Set target completion dates
Goals are associated with:
The reviewed employee
The active review cycle
These goals also show up in the Goals module however, cannot be deleted as they are part of active review cycle
Secondary Managers & Delegated Reviews
Expanded Goal Creation Permissions
If:
A secondary manager is assigned
ORA review is delegated to another evaluator
then the assigned non-manager reviewer also gains permission to create goals for the reviewed employee.
This ensures delegated reviewers can fully participate in employee development planning.
