Updated today

Step 1: Setup

In this step, you define how the Anniversary Review cycle is triggered and how frequently it should occur for employees based on their anniversary dates.

Frequency Configuration

You can configure how often reviews are initiated relative to each employee’s anniversary date. This allows organizations to align review cadence with tenure milestones.

Available options include:

  • Quarterly – Reviews are triggered every three months from the employee’s anniversary date

  • Every 6 Months – Reviews occur twice a year based on the anniversary cycle

  • Yearly – Reviews are conducted once per year on the anniversary date

This automated scheduling ensures that reviews are consistently triggered without requiring manual intervention.

Step 2: Process

In this step, you define how the review will be conducted. This includes selecting assessment types, enabling additional components, and choosing how templates are applied.

1. Assessment Types

Select the types of evaluations that will be included in the review. Each type represents a different feedback perspective:

  • Self Review – Employees evaluate their own performance

  • Manager Review – Managers assess their direct reports

  • Contributor Review – Peers provide feedback on collaboration and performance

  • Upward Review – Employees provide feedback on their managers

2. Optional Components

Enhance the review by enabling additional components:

  • Employee Total Score – Calculates an overall score based on responses

  • Goals (Assessment / Creation)

    • Assess existing goals

    • Create new goals during the review

  • Competencies – Evaluate employees against defined competency frameworks

3. Template Selection

Choose how templates will be applied across the selected assessment types:

  • One Template – A single template is used across all review steps (recommended for consistency)

  • Multiple Templates – Different templates can be assigned per review step

Note:
Template Control (advanced template overrides by department, position, or location) is not available for Anniversary Reviews.

Step 3: Participants

In this step, you define the population of employees who will be included in the review cycle.

Unlike calendar-based reviews, Anniversary Reviews are automatically driven by employee anniversary dates. However, you can still define the participant base.

Participant Selection Options

  • Create List
Build a participant list manually by selecting employees.
Ideal when you want full control over who is included.

  • Upload List
Upload a predefined list of employees using a supported CSV format.
Recommended when participant data is prepared externally.

This step ensures that only relevant employees are included in the anniversary-based review cycle.
