Tasks: Managing Shared Board Access

Shared boards can be scoped to specific people or opened to everyone. This article covers reviewing and updating who has access to a shared board after it's been created.

Users with the following access: Users with TASK_DASHBOARD:ADMIN access.

Viewing and updating board members

1. Open the shared board and click its gear/Settings icon.

2. Go to the Members tab.

3. You'll see everyone with access, grouped by how they were granted it — individually, or through a department, position, location, or team.

4. To remove access, remove the individual person, or remove an entire department/position/location/team group.

Note: the Members tab only appears for shared boards. A personal board (My Dashboard) doesn't have a Members tab, since it belongs to one person by default.

Changing overall access: Anyone vs. Specific Users

To switch a board between "Anyone in the company" and specific people/departments/positions/locations/teams, edit the board itself rather than the Members tab — use the board's edit option from your board list to update its access setting.
