You can organize and use boards made up of columns and cards — similar to a Kanban board. Everyone gets a personal board automatically, and you can also be added to (or, with the right access, create) shared boards for team or group work.
It is designed to help users track progress, manage workload, and complete required actions efficiently.
How it works?
A board is a workspace made up of columns (called swimlanes) and task cards.
A task is a card on a board with a title, an owner, a due date, a priority, and optional details like a description, custom fields, and attachments.
You move a task through its progress by dragging its card between columns.
Tasks support comments, file attachments, and a full history of changes.
Where to find it?
Look for "Tasks" in your navigation menu. This opens directly to your personal board, "My Dashboard," with any shared boards you belong to listed alongside it.
Who can do what?
Anyone with access to Tasks can manage their own personal board and tasks, and work within any shared board they've been added to.
Creating new shared boards and configuring their settings (columns, custom fields, and who has access) requires additional access.
People managers can view their direct reports' personal boards from a dedicated Team view.
Users can access Tasks from: Main > Tasks
This opens the task board view.
Can see Personal and Team task sections
Task Board Layout
The Tasks interface is organized into three status columns, representing the task lifecycle:
To Do
In Progress
Done
Each column displays task cards with key information such as task name, task ID, owner, due date, comments, and updates. These are the default swim lanes of personal dashboard.
Task Actions
From the Tasks board, users can:
Add a new task using the + Add Task button or Create Task button
Search tasks using the search bar
Open a task card to view details, comments, updates, and status
Drag and drop tasks to update status.
Task Card Information
Each task card shows:
Task Name
Task ID
Owner
Due Date
Comment count
Update count
Icons and labels help identify task type and visibility rules. Additionally card color stripe is based off of task priority.
