Position Org Chart

The Position Org Chart displays positions in a position-to-position hierarchy, similar to managerial reporting structures.

Position Hierarchy Structure

Position-to-Position Alignment

Positions are linked using a configurable hierarchy relationship.

Admins define the reporting structure by assigning positions to align under other positions.

Navigate to System Management > Organization > Positions.

Hierarchy Configuration

The Aligned To field functions similarly to:

  • Parent Department in Departments

This allows admins to align a position beneath another position to define hierarchy relationships used within the Position Org Chart.

Example:

  • Senior Director

    • Director

      • Manager

        • Senior Analyst

Position Block Details

Side Panel Information

Selecting a position block opens a side panel displaying detailed position information.

The side panel includes:

  • Employees assigned to the position

  • Competencies associated with the position

  • Career Track linked to the position

  • Job Level associated with the position

Competencies & Career Alignment

Position Competencies

Competencies displayed within the position details are derived from:

  • The assigned Job Level

  • The linked Career Track

  • Associated competency mappings

This provides visibility into:

  • Skill expectations

  • Career progression alignment

  • Development requirements

Compensation Details in Position Org Chart

Compa Ratio Visibility

Compensation Admins can view employee compa ratios directly within the Position Org Chart.

This provides additional compensation insights when reviewing employees assigned to a position.
