Custom Org Charts use the same builder experience, components, and interactions currently available in the existing org chart module, providing a familiar and flexible organizational planning experience.
This functionality is available to Admin users with the appropriate Manage Org Chart privilege.

Access to Custom Org Charts is restricted to users with the:
Manage Org Chart permission.
Creating Custom Org Charts
Create Multiple Custom Org Charts
Admins can create multiple independent custom org charts.
Each custom org chart:
Functions separately from Company and Position org charts
Maintains its own structure and hierarchy
Can be used for planning, restructuring, or alternative reporting structures
Org Chart Builder Experience
Custom Org Charts use the same:
UI components
Drag-and-drop interactions
Hierarchy management
Node editing functionality
Navigation behavior
currently available in the existing Manage Org Chart experience.
Copying Org Charts
Copy Existing Custom Org Charts
Admins can duplicate an existing custom org chart to use as a starting point for a new structure.
The copied chart retains:
Hierarchy structure
Nodes
Relationships
Layout configuration
Copy Company or Position Org Charts
Admins can also create a custom org chart by copying:
Company Org Chart
This allows admins to quickly build alternate organizational scenarios from existing structures.
Renaming Requirement
When copying any org chart:
The copied chart must be renamed before saving
This prevents duplicate chart naming conflicts.
Side Panel has employee blocks and Open position block elements
Export Support
Custom Org Charts support the same export capabilities currently available in the existing org chart module.
Delete Capability
Admins can delete custom org charts that are no longer needed.
