Adding Comments as an Approver

Approvers have the ability to add comments at the question level when reviewing an execution. This allows them to provide targeted feedback and request corrections before the review is finalized.

Purpose

Comments are used to:

  • Highlight specific issues or required changes

  • Provide clarity on responses that need revision

  • Guide reviewers before resubmission

How to Add a Comment

  • Navigate to the execution under review

  • Click on Add Comment next to the relevant question

  • Enter your feedback in the input field

  • Click the check mark to save the comment

  • Click Return to send the execution back to the reviewer for updates

Editing Comments

  • Comments can be edited before returning the execution

  • Update the content as needed

  • Click the check mark again to save the updated comment

Visibility of Comments

Comments are visible to:

  • Reviewer: Accessible from the Dashboard when the execution is returned

  • Admin: Visible from the Admin Experience view

This ensures transparency and allows both parties to track requested changes.

Comment Lifecycle

  • Comments remain active while the execution is in a returned state

  • Once the reviewer makes updates and resubmits the execution:

    • All associated comments are automatically marked as resolved

    • Comments are no longer visible or accessible after resubmission

Key Rules and Limitations

  • Only one approver can add comments at a given time

  • Comments must be saved (check mark) before returning the execution

  • Comments are tied to specific questions, not the entire review

  • Comments cannot be accessed once the execution is resubmitted
