Contributor Reviews allow organizations to collect feedback from peers and other contributors who have worked closely with the reviewee.
When configuring a Contributor Review process in a review cycle, administrators can define:
Who is responsible for nominating contributors.
The maximum number of contributor nominations allowed.
Reviewees can nominate between 1 and 3 contributors, depending on the configuration.
Configure Contributor Nominations
Option 1: Only Managers Nominate Contributors
Select Only managers nominate contributors if managers should have full control over selecting contributors.
With this option:
Managers choose all contributors for each reviewee.
Reviewees cannot nominate contributors.
Managers are responsible for ensuring the selected contributors can provide meaningful feedback.
Admins can bypass and edit/delete/add the contributor executions post nomination time period.
This option is ideal when organizations want consistent oversight of contributor selection.
Option 2: Reviewees Nominate Contributors
Select Reviewees nominate contributors to allow employees to recommend the people who will provide feedback.
With this option:
Reviewees nominate their contributors.
Managers review and approve the nominations before they are finalized.
Managers can replace nominated contributors with different reviewers if needed.
Managers can also select contributors for their direct reports during the approval process.
Admins can bypass and edit/delete/add the contributor executions post nomination time period.
This option gives employees input into who provides feedback while allowing managers to maintain final approval.
