Registering for Paychex Flex® Engage

Find the steps to begin using the Paychex Flex® Engage Product

Creating a New Account

To begin registering for your Paychex Flex® Engage account, ensure you are logged in to an account with Super Admin permissions inside of Paychex Flex®. This permission level is required to enable the product.

Once you are logged in as a Super Admin, there will be a tile on the admin dashboard labeled Paychex Flex® Engage with a button labeled "Connect to Engage".

After selecting the button you will click on the button called "Create new Account"

From there, you will enter the name of your organization and the subdomain you would like.

Subdomain is what will be in the url of your system site. For example, app is the subdomain in app.paychexflexengage.com

After entering your organization details, you will decide if you would like Flex Users to be included in your engage account. If so, an engage user will be created for each Flex User to allow them to participate in the product, if you elect to not include users you can add them back later in the process once the account is created.

You may then be asked to complete the bank authorization form by clicking the bank form and complete all the required fields. Upon completion you will be redirected back to the registration page where you will be able to submit and register your account.

Once you see the registration confirmation screen, you may return to the Admin Dashboard in Paychex Flex® and you will see that the Connect to Engage button has switched to a Launch Engage button and will now be visible to all Flex Admins.

After hitting Launch you will be logged into your new Paychex Flex® account and begin the product onboarding process.

Linking a new Company ID To Existing Flex® Engage Account

To begin Linking a new Company ID, ensure you are logged in to the Flex Company with Super Admin permissions inside of Paychex Flex®. This permission level is required to enable the product for each ID. Also ensure you are an admin or working with an admin who is currently logged in to your existing Paychex Flex Engage account.

Once you are logged in as a Super Admin, there will be a tile on the admin dashboard labeled Paychex Flex® Engage with a button labeled "Connect to Engage".

After selecting the button, you will want to click the "Link Existing Account" button.

Now using your account thats logged into your existing Paychex Flex® Engage account, you will want to navigate to the Import Data tab on the left hand menu. After getting there you will select the "Manage Client IDs" button in the top right of the page. Then finally you will select the "Add New" button in the top right of the modal.

Clicking the "Add New" button will generate a 6 digit code which you will copy and paste into the registration page you were working on to link the two accounts together.

after pasting in the code, you may be required again to submit a bank authorization form that will be used for billing for that newly connected Company ID. After completing the bank form you will return once again to the billing page where you will select the "Create Account" button to finalize the registration process.

After completing the process, you will see that a new Company ID has ben added to your existing Flex® Engage account and the new data will import in.
