To manage rewards for your organization, navigate to the Manage Rewards tab under System Management.

Paychex Flex® Engage offers Rewards Admins the option to set the point to dollar ratio for their organization. To do this, the Rewards Admin is prompted to enter the number of cents in USD that each point will be worth. For example, if you enter 100 in the box, each point will be worth $1. (Paychex Flex® Engage always bases its points system in the United States Dollar.)

Option to set up automatic points to be sent to employees on their anniversary and/or birthday. For anniversary points, you are able to set up ranges based on tenure.

Option to receive an email when the rewards catalog balance reaches a specific amount. This would be a reminder to add more funds.

If you wish to not approve each order redemption and allow them to receive the order details once redeemed, please scroll to the bottom of the Reward Settings tab and select “Bypass Reward OrderApproval”. Please keep in mind this does not apply to custom items.

This will show you all of the gift cards available for redemption.

➔ Option to search for a specific item.

➔ If you would like to disable a gift card, click into the bottom right hand corner of the item.

To create custom items available for redemption, click the Custom Items tab at the top. To create a custom item, click “Add New Custom Item” in the top right hand corner.

Here you can see all of the amazon items available for redemption. Please see screenshot below if you wish to turn off the Amazon Marketplace.

Option to set up various challenges that employees can complete for points. To add a challenge, click “Create Challenge” in the top right hand corner.

➔ Provide a name for the challenge and an optional description.

➔ Provide the number of points employees will receive for completing this challenge.

➔ Select the participants who are able to see this challenge (all employees or select groups).

➔ Select the frequency of this challenge.

➔ Provide a start and expiration date for this challenge.

➔ Option to require proof. This will ask the employee to provide a screenshot when completing the challenge.

➔ Option to “Bypass Approval” which means the challenge needs no approval, they receive the points automatically after completing the challenge.

If you did not bypass approvals in Reward Settings, this is where you approve the redemptions. If you have custom items in the catalog that require approval, they will also be listed here.

To approve the redemption, click View Request on the far right hand side. Here, you can approve or deny the redemption. It is required to provide a comment.

If you have challenges set up that require approval, this is where you will approve the challenges.

As a system administrator, you can run various reports on the rewards. Each report can be exported in the top right hand corner.

A report that shows all redemptions made in the catalog.

A report that shows the points employees have received.

A report that shows the total number of points each employee has in the system. From this tab, you can also import points in the top right hand corner.

➔ From the Total Points tab, click “Import Points” in the top right hand corner.

➔ Download the Example.

➔ Remove the sample data from the CSV.

➔ In column A, provide the employee’s email address.

➔ In column B, provide the number of points you are adding for the employee.

➔ Import the CSV.

An easy way to give points to all employees or to individual recipients.

Ability to set a value to the badges you have created in the system. When an employee receives this badge, they will receive the points.
